Welcome back to our Mystery Quilt 2021! Thank you for joining me in this Mystery Quilt-along, can you believe we are already halfway through? I feel so lucky to be quilting alongside each of you in these times. Our community is so strong and this week I am thankful for you!
For Block 6, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Perfect Union”) • 2 blue fabrics • 2 light fabrics
Block A Block B
We will be making 16 total Block 6’s: 8 of Block A and 8 of Block B
The cutting directions are as listed below: • 32 – blue HSTs cut from 16 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block A) • 32 – light HSTs cut from 16 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block A) • 32 – blue HSTs cut from 16 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block B) • 32 – light HSTs cut from 16 squares 2-7/8″ (Color Option Block B)
Edyta’s Important Note: If you are planning to use Triangle Paper for this block, which I will be using in our video today, then you will need to cut two 10″ x 10″ squares of each of the four fabric colors.
Now watch our YouTube Channel for the block’s step-by-step instructions and tips on how to make this project.
Our sixth blocks will be positioned as shown above in our Mystery Quilt 2021! Notice the position of the blue fabric in the corners.
