For Block 9, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Perfect Union”) • 2 blue fabrics • 2 light fabrics
Block A Block B
We will be making 16 Quarter Square Triangle (QST) Block 9s: 8 of Block A and 8 of Block B
Edyta’s Tip: For Block 9, you can also cut just the squares and then follow our YouTube video for a fun technique to make QSTs!
The cutting directions are as listed below: • 16 – light QSTs cut from 4 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block A) • 16 – blue QSTs cut from 4 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block A) • 16 – light QSTs cut from 4 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block B) • 16 – blue QSTs cut from 4 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block B)

The Rainbow Option:
For Block 9, you will need: (choose the fabrics from “Linen Texture” or your favorite collection) • 1 blue fabric • 1 gold fabric • 1 red fabric • 2 light fabrics
Block A Block B Block C
We will be making 16 total Quarter Square Triangle (QST) Block 9s: 8 of Block A, 4 of Block B, and 4 of Block C.

The cutting directions are as listed below: • 20 – light QSTs cut from 5 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block A and C) • 16 – blue QSTs cut from 4 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block A) • 12 – light QSTs cut from 3 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block B and C) • 8 – gold QSTs cut from 2 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block B) • 8 – red QSTs cut from 2 squares 5-1/4″ (Color Option Block C)
Now position your blocks following the picture above.
