With the permission from Virginia Quilt Museum, I have had the privilege to create beautiful Fabric Silhouette blocks for the Laundry Basket Quilts “Summerfield” Block of the Month Quilt. The majority of the blocks represented in this quilt are reproductions of the 1856 Shenandoah Valley Botanical Album Quilt by Esther B. Matthews. This unique folk art quilt is in the permanent collection of the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, VA. The Virginia Quilt Museum retains copyright of the original quilt and all derivative works. Use of these blocks is for personal use only, and no financial gain can be made by the reproduction or sale of any works inspired by this pattern without the written consent of the Virginia Quilt Museum.
