Eight Point Star - 9 inch

What a wonderful weekend!

I always enjoy learning something new and exciting and then sharing it with you!

Our new 9 inch Eight Point Star has been SEW much fun!

It was so easy and quick to cut my diamonds for the star from the jelly roll strips.

I got a really fun variety of matches in light and blue.

I used this recipe for cutting all the pieces for my Star Blocks.

For one Star Block cut:

8 Diamonds A cut from 2 strips 2-3/8" x 20" (4 blue and 4 light diamonds)

4 Quarter Square Triangles B cut from 1 square 4-7/8" twice diagonally

4 Squares C cut at 3-1/8" x 3-1/8"

Follow our YouTube Channel and click this link for the full directions

and a step-by-step guide on how to make these cuties!

Edyta's Tip: These embroidery floss threads (Solid Cream Pewter & Solid Sugar Paper) are a beautiful match for this project in case you want to add some hand stitches to your star!

Happy Quilting!

Edyta
