“Jelly Bean” Collection

End of the year brings two of my favorite events, Fall and Quilt Market. Both of them are drenched in the most amazing colors.

In our studio, the leaves were turning “Jelly Bean” colors.

The “Jelly Bean” fabric collection is perfect eye candy for quilters, bursting with flavors like watermelon pink, kiwi green, blueberry blues, and lemon yellows in both prints and batiks.

They are so yummy, I’m sure you are going to enjoy every flavor, individually or as a group.

There is not stopping, I’m sure you’ll find yourself reaching into this candy dish of fabrics again and again for more.

I asked my little friend Ivy to show you how much fun these fabrics could be.

Just put your feet up and enjoy every cut!

Fat Quarter Bundles, Fat Eight Bundles, Layer Cakes, Jellyrolls, and Charm Packs – there is a cut for everyone in this “Jelly Bean” collection.

You’ll sure be happy to get your hands on them!

We even have a beautiful small package of Aurifil threads to match the “Jelly Bean” colors and add a sweet touch to your projects.

The “Sweet Ride” quilt that I  designed from the “Jelly Bean” collection seemed to be one of Ivy’s favorites.

She enjoyed looking through the pages of Moda’s catalog where you can find details about the fabric as well as all of the projects that accompany the “Jelly Bean” Collection. Click this Jelly Bean link to see these pages up close.

There are so many wonderful projects to choose from; Sweet Ride, Pennsylvania Star, Dresden Bloom, Spilled Beans, Country Fair, Sugar Shack, and Tote Trio.

As I started creating with the “Jelly Bean” collection, one of my quilts blossomed into this “Dresden Bloom”

“Pennsylvania Star” has burst in color and applique.

“Home Sweet Home” is made with “Jelly Bean” laser cut fusible “Silhouette” packages. These shapes will also available in Spring 2014 as “Snippets” with 1/4″ seam allowance for hand and machine applique.

This large tote is one of three made from the “Tote Trio” pattern and “Jellybean” fabrics. It sure was fun to make and has plenty of room for quilting projects.

I hope you decide to take a trip to you local quilt shop and enjoy some of my new “Jelly Bean” collection that will be available in April 2014!

But for now, one lucky quilter will have the chance to win the bundle and threads shown in the picture above. Please leave me a comment by midnight Dec 8th to be entered into this random drawing!

I hope I was able to sweeten your day with the “Jelly Bean” Collection. You sure make my life sweet with all of your nice comments. Thank you, Edyta.
