Show Your Patriotic Pride: Join Our 4th of July Fabric Contest!

Welcome to the first ever Laundry Basket Quilts 4th of July Fabric Contest!

We are sew excited for you all to join us and create a beautiful 4th of July Project!

This contest is FREE for everyone to join with fun prizes to win.


The Contest

- Project must include a piece of the Laundry Basket Quilts Red or Blue Star Panel.

- Use your own fabrics in patriotic colors along with the panel to create any beautiful project (quilt, table runner, jacket, bag, etc.)

- Project size requirements: no smaller than 20" square and no bigger than 80" square.

- Submit a picture of your project with a short description of your inspiration from

March 30th until July 1st to be entered into our contest using the link below!



All winners will be announced July 4th on our blog!


We have small bundle if you do not have enough

of your own fabrics in Red, Light, and Blue.


I'm really looking forward to see how you use this fabric!

This is going to be SEW much fun no matter how you use it and what you make.

Experiment, get creative and get quilting those red, lights, and blues!


Here's some quilts to inspire you and get you thinking about all the different ways you can use this fabrics, like:

You can use it as a border to really make your quilt top shine.


Or use it as sashing to really put some sparkle in your design.


Use it as the center of your favorite block.


All sorts of blocks - like a square in a square!


Have fun creating the most beautiful designs with these starry fabrics.

They are all beautiful. But I'm sad. I worked so hard. Literally had to make (I painted two pieces of fabric to make them two different design fabrics) two prints of fabric to acheive the number of prints pattern needed. Sent the image to your email cause wasn't sure how to get to contest. And my quilt wasn't in your contest. SO proud of what I did and disappointed it was for not. Never added to contest
