Every fall, before the cold weather hits Michigan, we try to fit in one last visit to our favorite spot on the big lake (Lake Michigan).
For no reason other than to play a little bit,
maybe go for a walk to spread our wings,
pick some sticks,
and stones to enjoy this special place.
The off-season colors and images of Lake Michigan have provided inspiration for my latest fabric collection “Sticks and Stones” from Moda,
along with many wonderful Quilts and Patterns that I have made from them,
This quiet time on the beach is perfect to spread a quilt,
sit for a moment,
and enjoy your surroundings.
The views are spectacular,
with many hidden surprises! 🙂
Some are more hands (and nose) – on with the nature,
while others wait in the surrounding peace for nature’s light show,
SUNSET!
I feel so blessed to be inspired,
