We did it!
Wow, amazing job everyone.
I'm sew excited to introduce our new quilt -
ARIZONA!
Pat yourself on the back - that was a lot of hard work.
I am so proud of you for sticking with it and stitching through!
Now it is time to put all the blocks together. Are you ready?
Lay out your blocks following the above grid pattern.
Start by first sewing you blocks into rows. Next, sew rows together.
Press seams in opposite directions.
Like blooms on a catcus, beauty can be found everywhere.
Nothing is what it seems, it's what you make of it.
This time, we're going to have a little fun with the backing so that when you flip the quilt over, you have an exciting surprise. We will be taking our leftover scraps and be piecing them into something amazing!
Just like a fingerprint, it will be uniquely yours.
So don't miss our Quilting Window LIVE on YouTube at the end of August for all the fun!

I can't wait to see what you've created!
Happy Quilting!
Edyta
I didn’t find this blog until Winter but just finished all 81 blocks! This has been such a fun learning experience as I made all the different blocks. Thank you for sharing this with all of us!
Hello,
I saw the backing of the quilt Edyta did on Instagram. I am new to quilting and I hope this isn't a dumb question. When doing a pattern on the backing, how do you account for the 6 inch overhang & trimming?
Question are you going to post on the blog about the different options of the 9 section of the backing? Sizes?
Very very anxious to see the pieced backing. It’s not normally your style to drop the ball like this, but have you forgotten this quilt? If things changed, would appreciate an update to tell me so I can go ahead and finish my quilt, which I love.
So excited to finish our summer mystery quilt - but waiting on the video for the fun pieced backing idea!! When will this be out? It's the "end of August"!! Thank you!
