Take me away, Tahoe!
I am SEW excited to invite you to our
Tahoe Quilt Along!
Join us each day for 24 days, right here on our Blog and YouTube Channel, to make this stunning design a reality.
Beginning Sunday October 29th, with basic instructions and Monday, October 30th,
we will begin making our blocks together!
This blog is your guide for all the fabric and supplies you will need to make a beautiful quilt. Don't forget to sign up for our Newsletter and subscribe to our YouTube Channel
to stay on track during our Tahoe Quilt Along.
This event is Free for all to join! You do not need to sign up for it.
Look at all of the beautiful color options we have for you.
Below are all the kits we recommend:
FABRICS {We have three fabric options- choose one or use your own fabric stash}
For detailed Fabric Requirements, please visit our website. Just click on your favorite option!
• Binding: 2/3 yard of fabric in a complimentary color -or- if use up any scraps for a scrappy binding. • Backing: 8 yards light fabric - So many beautiful fabrics on our website to choose from. Click here.
PATTERN {You will need a pattern to participate in this Quilt Along - Make sure you choose the pattern that goes with your kit or your favorite color option}
RULER {You only need one ruler, both will work}
• Alaska Creative Grids® Ruler (Note: This ruler can be used for cutting strips but not for trimming.)
NOTIONS {These are my recommendations} • Aurifil Thread – 2370 or 2312 recommended
Edyta’s Tip: I like to press all my fabric ahead of cutting. I use Best Press for a nice, crisp finish!
• Pins, scissors, and fresh Microtex Needles 70/10
• Olfa Rotary and Blades
Edyta’s Tip: Always have a stash of fresh blades for your rotary and remember to change yours often
for the cleanest cuts.
Before we began our journey, please visit our website for any pattern updates.
Please do this before you start cutting.
SEW looking forward to sailing away with you!
Be kind to yourself and be patient.
I'm so proud of you, and I can't wait to see you have SEW much fun!
See you October 29th for basic directions and cutting, and October 30th for the fun to begin!
Happy Quilting,
Edyta
Can’t wait!
Will I be able to catch up on the videos on YouTube? I will be out of town for a few of those days.
Boa tarde . mais um lindo projeto. Sera que e possivel fazer com ruler Alasca?
And I took a chance and bought a Tahoe set last year. I sewed, although I didn't have enough experience, but I had a great desire. The result is an incredibly beautiful blanket. I thank Mrs. Edita. I am very happy for everyone who starts. Thanks!
In looking at the pattern corrections for Tahoe, I'm not understanding the correction for page 31? Would you please email me so that I'm ready to sew. Thank you. jenniferwright037@gmail.com
