Today we will work on Block 7.
You will need: Winter Village pattern, fabric (we have kits), rotary, ruler, fabric pencil, pins, scissors, and Aurifil thread 2310.
House 18
Start by cutting House 18. Follow the directions on page 26 of the Winter Village Pattern and lay out all your pieces for the eighteenth house.
Sew the blue square and smaller rectangle to the top and bottom of the light window square and press.
For the chimney, sew a light fabric cut to each side of the blue square and press. Sew chimney to roof and press.
Sew the sky, roof, and wall units together – row by row – before adding the light side sashing and press.
House 19
Cut your pieces for House 19. Follow the directions on page 27 of the Winter Village Pattern and lay out all your pieces for the nineteenth house.
Pin and sew top blue rectangle to the light barn door first. Then pin and sew both side rectangles to your block and press.
Sew house, roof and sky units together before adding the light side sashing on the right side and press to complete.
House 20
Cut your pieces for House 20. Follow the directions on page 28 of the Winter Village Pattern and lay out all your pieces for the twentieth house.
For your wall units, sew the top, middle, and bottom blue rectangles to the light window squares. Next sew the blue rectangle to the light door. Pin and sew longer blue rectangles in between each section, then sew all together and press.
For the roof unit, lay your light sky squares right sides together on top of your blue roof triangle. Use your fabric pencil and ruler to draw a diagonal line on both of the light sky squares. Sew on the line, then trim 1/4″ away from the line. Next, press your Flying Geese unit open.
Complete your house by sewing the sky, chimney, roof, and wall units together row by row. Pin and sew on side sashing. Press to finish.

I love the creativity in the Winter Village Quilt Along! It's great to see the artistic community thriving. As for your question about Matcha and Hojicha, Matcha is a finely ground green tea with a vibrant green color and a rich, grassy flavor, while Hojicha is roasted green tea that has a warm, nutty taste and a brown hue. Both are delicious, but they offer distinct flavor profiles for different preferences.
On a side note, just like selecting the right tea can enhance your experience, choosing reliable assignment writing services can significantly improve your academic performance. Finding the right help can make all the difference in your studies!
